Relaxing after a long drive is an easy transition at Old Brook Inn. A stroll along one of the many paths will reveal the abundance of wildlife here. The Inn boasts of its grand visitation of songbirds and waterfowl. For the ever vigilant birds of prey such as eagles, hawks, osprey, kingfishers and great blue heron the two nearby ponds are obviously the magnet. Plenty of natural treats offer themselves in season... wild berries, mushrooms, apples, plums and pears.

A continental breakfast of fruit, hot muffins or coffeecake, with coffee, tea or milk is served in the dining room looking out at the orchard. For those with the time, the sightseeing and parklands on their own Fidalgo Island are without equal. Recreation is available nearby in the form of golf, community theater, casinos, scenic trails, swimming and all types of boating such as kayaking, charter fishing, sunset cruises and whale watching. Farther afield, the San Juan Islands are well known as a vacation paradise. Limited accommodations in the San Juans makes Old Brook Inn a practical jumping-off point, with the ferry only 15 minutes away.

At this time, the Inn offers only two rooms, which tends to keep things quiet here -- a condition the deer truly appreciate! Both rooms have very comfortable queen beds and private baths. The downstairs room is the smaller and more intimate of the two and has a peek-a-boo view of Fidalgo Bay through the trees from the bay window. The upstairs room is considerably larger, with a sitting area overlooking the orchard. This room also has twin beds and can accommodate up to five, so bring the kids. Yes, children are welcome at Old Brook Inn! Pets too... but please, no pythons.
They look forward to your visit. They're sure your stay at Old Brook Inn will be an enjoyable memory that will linger for some time.
